The Kind of Nanny Thrive Loves to Place (and how you can earn $250 for helping us find them!)

At Thrive Nannies, we’re passionate about connecting exceptional caregivers with families who truly value them. Over the years, we’ve learned what makes a nanny thrive — and what makes a placement last.

We look for caregivers who bring a blend of professional experience, genuine warmth, and deep commitment to their work. Many of our nannies have backgrounds in teaching, daycare, nursing, or caregiving for individuals with special needs or seniors. What matters most is that they’ve spent at least three years in hands-on caregiving roles and have developed a solid understanding of what quality care looks like.

We especially love to work with nannies who are:

  • Reliable and trustworthy – Families depend on you, and we want them to know they can.

  • Passionate and self-motivated – You don’t wait to be told what a child needs; you notice, adapt, and nurture.

  • Safety-minded and prepared – Current CPR & First Aid certification is required (or a willingness to certify by your first day).

  • Experienced with special needs care – Many of our families have children or young adults with Autism, Down Syndrome, or other developmental differences, so experience in this area is always a big plus.

  • Heart-driven professionals – You do this work because it matters. You know that consistency, compassion, and communication can change a family’s life.

If that sounds like you — or someone you know — we’d love to connect!

💳 Referral Reward: Thrive Nannies offers a $250 Visa gift card for successful referrals. Simply send a qualified nanny our way; if they’re hired for any position, we’ll send you the reward as our way of saying thank you.
